The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. The view from our little place was breathtaking. Restaurants, shops, trail hikes, etc is not far. Waking up to the view of the mountain, trees, flowers, birds singing was breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us ❤️

In a quiet valley, surrounded by stunning hills and nature, we spent 7 nights here and had a great time. Wendy and Bob are just wonderful hosts, one couldn’t ask for more.

Our room was spacious with a little kitchen (fridge), cooker and microwave, etc. There’s air-condition, good wifi. The breakfast offered coffee, tea, fruit-salad, etc. – including a fresh bread that Wendy is baking every morning plus eggs the way you want them. We felt safe and relaxed. If you need anything, ask Bob, he’ll recommend restaurants or whatever you need and appears to know everyone in town 🙂

You will enjoy the plants, trees and the beautiful garden which is a little park in itself. Their dogs are lovely and always ready for some attention. Whether you come as a couple, single only or with children, you will enjoy your stay here.

We stayed at Summerhill on our trip from Johannesburg before going to Cape Town to our new home. If this is what the Cape has to offer, we are going to be very happy here.

Summerhill is a great retreat to destress and catch your breath. Lovely hosts, amazing garden, and our unit was perfect for us. The kids wanted to take the animals home with us especially Daisy the dog.

Once we are settled we will be back.

A beautiful house and the most amazing garden we ever saw. So many flowers, shrubs, trees and all well kept. The walk in the garden was a walk in heaven.

A beautiful room with all equiment to cook a proper meal. Even with the load shedding, we were offered to cook in a separate kitchen on a gas stove.

Our hosts were lovely people who have us a lot of tips which routes to take to our next stop.

We got a excellent breakfast.

Recently spent an amazing weekend there,the best hosts. Most comfortable, super clean accommodation. Breakfast daily was fresh and delicious with excellent coffee. Bob and Wendy’s garden is spectacular, cool, green and colourful. Thank you for an amazing weekend. Oh and please buy some of there preserves and spices, they are delicious esp. peppadews

Very pleasant stay

We stayed with our two children for two nights and it was a very pleasant stay. Children swam and played with the rabbits and we found the rooms and beds very comfortable. We found the hosts very friendly and accommodating. We have no reservations in recommending the place

We are elderly and didn’t want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the town, so Summerhill was just right for us. 8km from Worcester, perfect for shopping, dinner, and lunches.

The farm is quiet and peacefull, the staff are wonderful and Bob and Wendy were very iknowledgeable on where to eat, and where to sightsee. Wendy told us all abou the history of Worcester which is facinating.

We had a lovely stay and went home fully rested.

Spent a night at the guest house as a short trip away from Cape Town, what a fantastic getaway. Perfectly placed to be 2 minutes away from all that Worcester offers on the main drag, but far enough away that you feel like you’re nowhere near the crowds. Our room was spacious, well appointed and the gardens and animals are an absolute delight. Can’t wait to return to the farm for another getaway, next time we’ll stay two nights!

We were referred here by a friend who had just stayed. We needed a comfortable place to stay prior to our return flight home. It was exactly what we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable Therre were plenty of places to relax in for an afternoon. It was nice after a week of game reserve and travel. The gardens are spectacular, the hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was great and we would return if we find ourselves back in South Africa one day.

Oh My Word! I was in 7th heaven at Summerhill Guest Farm.

Wendy and Bob were super friendly and incredibly helpful. They were wonderful to engage with and made us feel completely at home.

The staff members were always polite and friendly and Charity made us perfect breakfasts. We could not have asked for more.

Our accommodation was adequately appointed and the very efficient aircon was welcome in the extreme heat. The rooms and bedding were perfectly clean and comfortable and I was in my element with the animals that were there. Being able to bring pets is an added bonus.

The pool was sparkling clean and in such a perfect setting.

And I’ve saved the best for last. The gardens are beyond awesome. The trees and shrubs are well established and it’s like walking through the enchanted gardens that you read about, and imagined, as a child. The tranquility and peace that I felt there was magical. I feel refreshed and so privileged to have been able to stay there.

Helpful after my mistake

Host were extremely helpful after I made a booking for the wrong dates. I arrived at night without them knowing and they made a plan to accommodate us. Will definitely stay again. Hosts were very friendly and we ended up chatting for about an hour before check out.

We had a wedding at Damas and stayed over at Summerhill, beautiful place would love to stay there for longer . Would definitely recommend this for anybody who loves quiet and nature! Loved the dogs xx Thanks Bob and Wendy

This was our best holiday in South Africa. Summerhill was fantastic and lavender cottage felt like home, we stayed there for 4 weeks and when we left we left out family and the the farm so lots of tears! Can’t’ recommend enough. Also loved all the animals especially Jessie 💖 and all the staff were lovely 😁

Amazing ,clean,tranquil, comfortable, I would recommend this place anytime,owners were very hospitable,units was clean,towels and bedding was clean and white,utensils clean and on its place ,checking in and out was a breeze

My husband and I stayed here for his work trip and had an exceptional experience! The guesthouse is in a stunning location, the beds are so comfortable and the hosts are incredibly lovely, warm and hospitable!! Highly recommend staying here!
